Solar system calculator
Estimate the solar system size, number of panels, inverter, battery backup and savings for your home or business in Pakistan, in seconds.
Tip: fans, lights, router and fridge are typically 800–1,500 W. A 1.5-ton inverter AC adds roughly 1,200–1,800 W.
Estimates assume ~125 units per kW per month (typical for Punjab) with clean, unshaded panels. Actual results depend on your site. Our free survey confirms the final design.

About the calculator
How the estimate works
Rules of thumb used by solar engineers in Punjab, explained.
Read the sizing guideHow is the system size calculated?
We divide the units you want to cover by the average generation of 1 kW of solar in Punjab (about 125 units per month), then round up to a whole number of panels. The inverter is sized for a normal DC/AC ratio of up to 1.2.
How accurate is the calculator?
It's a good first estimate for well-installed, clean, unshaded systems. Shading, roof orientation, dust, panel technology and your load pattern all affect real output, which is why we confirm every design with a site survey and simulation.
How is the battery size estimated?
For hybrid systems we size lithium storage for your chosen backup load and hours, assuming about 90% usable capacity. Off-grid systems also need enough storage to cover roughly half of your daily consumption overnight.
Are the savings figures guaranteed?
No. Savings are estimated from the units your system produces that replace grid units at the rate you enter. Tariffs, taxes, net-metering or net-billing terms and your usage pattern all affect actual savings.
